Ingredients
- 16 oz. box De Cecco gourmet pasta (wide ruffle rectangular)
- 16 oz. carton ricotta cheese ⓘ
- 16 oz. pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese ⓘ
- 26 oz. jar tomato-basil Classico sauce ⓘ
- 2 cans spinach or equivalent amount fresh spinach ⓘ
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1 Tbsp. butter ⓘ
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil ⓘ
- Parmesan cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil with one tablespoon each of salt and olive oil.
- Add the pasta and gently stir.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes, ensuring not to overcook.
- Drain a portion of the water from the pasta.
- Add 1 cup of cool water to the pasta to stop cooking.
