Ingredients

  • 16 oz. box De Cecco gourmet pasta (wide ruffle rectangular)
  • 16 oz. carton ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz. pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 26 oz. jar tomato-basil Classico sauce
  • 2 cans spinach or equivalent amount fresh spinach
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil with one tablespoon each of salt and olive oil.
  2. Add the pasta and gently stir.
  3. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, ensuring not to overcook.
  4. Drain a portion of the water from the pasta.
  5. Add 1 cup of cool water to the pasta to stop cooking.
