Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked asparagus or green peas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese
  • 1 cup Romano cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb boiled shrimp peeled
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp red hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Arrange cooked vegetables on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer shredded Cheddar cheese on top of the vegetables.
  4. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Romano cheese.
  5. Layer the boiled shrimp over the cheese layer.
  6. Sprinkle with the remaining Romano cheese.
  7. Beat the eggs with white wine, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the casserole.
  9. Spread the undiluted mushroom or cream of chicken soup over the top.
  10. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  11. Bake for 1 hour.
