- Bake the crescent rolls on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350°F; let cool.
- Alternatively, use white sandwich bread with the crusts removed.
- Mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix until very soft and creamy.
- Spread the mixture over the cooled rolls or bread.
- Finely chop the vegetables and mix with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
- Sprinkle the cheese and vegetable mixture over the spread on the bread or rolls.
- Pat lightly and chill until ready to serve.
- Cut into small squares or triangles.
- Decorate with sliced black olives, pecans, dill weed, parsley, or other toppings as desired.
