Colorful veggie and cheese bites ideal for parties or appetizers, combining fresh vegetables, creamy cheese spread, and crispy crescent rolls for a delightful flavor experience.

Ingredients

  • cheddar cheese
  • pecans
  • cream cheese
  • ranch style dressing mix
  • cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • carrot
  • olives
  • crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Bake the crescent rolls on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350°F; let cool.
  2. Alternatively, use white sandwich bread with the crusts removed.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix until very soft and creamy.
  4. Spread the mixture over the cooled rolls or bread.
  5. Finely chop the vegetables and mix with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese and vegetable mixture over the spread on the bread or rolls.
  7. Pat lightly and chill until ready to serve.
  8. Cut into small squares or triangles.
  9. Decorate with sliced black olives, pecans, dill weed, parsley, or other toppings as desired.
