Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup bananas
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 3/4 cups rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Blend until creamy the shortening, brown sugar, and egg.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  3. Mash the bananas and add alternately with the flour mixture to the sugar mixture.
  4. Stir in the chopped walnuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, shredded coconut, raisins, and rolled oats.
