Walnut Yogurt Ring

- Cream butter with 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, until blended.
- Stir in yogurt, lemon peel, and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Add 3/4 cup chopped walnuts to the batter.
- Turn half of the batter into a greased, floured 9-inch tube pan.
- Repeat with the remaining batter if needed.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
