Ingredients

  • 1 can peaches
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 can pears
  • 1 can apricots or dried apricots
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Drain all the canned fruits and set aside.
  2. Combine the juices from the fruits with brown sugar in a saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add cold water mixed with cornstarch to thicken.
  4. Pour the thickened syrup over the drained fruits.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (232°C) for 20 minutes.
