Ingredients

  • 1 lb. meat (sausage or hamburger)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 2 c. tomatoes
  • 2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
  • wide lasagna noodles
  • 3 c. cottage cheese
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine the meat, garlic salt, parsley, basil, tomatoes, and tomato paste; simmer until thick.
  2. While the sauce simmers, soften the lasagna noodles.
  3. Mix the cottage cheese, beaten eggs, salt, pepper, and parsley to make the cheese mixture.
  4. In a 9x13 inch pan, layer softened noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers until the pan is filled.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
  7. Let the lasagna set for 10 minutes before serving.
