White Cauliflower Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 cup pimento
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 (15 oz.) can green beans
  • 2 drops Tabasco sauce
  • paprika to taste
  • 1 cup milk or 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the cauliflower.
  2. Break the cauliflower into flowers and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove and drain the cauliflower.
  4. Place the cauliflower into a casserole dish and add salt, pepper, and margarine.
  5. Mix all other ingredients together, except Swiss cheese.
  6. Add the mixture to the casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle grated Swiss cheese over the top of the casserole.
  8. Bake at 450°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
