Ingredients

  • 2 lb. whitefish fillets
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 dash seasoned pepper
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. blanched, slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Cut the whitefish fillets into serving size pieces.
  2. Sprinkle lemon juice over all sides of the fish pieces.
  3. Combine all-purpose flour, seasoned salt, and seasoned pepper.
  4. Use the seasoned flour mixture to coat each fish piece.
  5. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter or margarine.
  6. Fry the coated fish pieces in the skillet until browned, about 10 minutes, turning once.
  7. Place the cooked fish on a warm platter and keep warm.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
