Ingredients

  • 1 box golden cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix cake mix, melted margarine, and 1 slightly beaten egg into a stiff mixture.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 15 x 2-inch pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the remaining ingredients: cream cheese, powdered sugar, 2 eggs, coconut, vanilla, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base.
  5. Bake at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is light brown.
  6. Cool before cutting into squares.
