Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground lean pork
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, ground pork, minced onion, rice, cracker crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Pour the condensed tomato soup diluted with water over the meatballs.
  4. Bake in a 375°F oven for 1 hour until cooked through and bubbly.
