Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can butter beans (lima)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the bacon, hamburger, and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain the cans of pork and beans, and add them to a crock-pot.
  3. Add the cooked bacon, hamburger, and onion to the crock-pot.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, liquid smoke, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix everything well and cook on low for 4 hours.
