Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 7 stems celery
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 1 garlic button or garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 to 1/2 Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • olives (optional)
  • mushrooms (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Season ground meat and cook until brown.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Finely chop celery, onion, and bell pepper.
  4. Put chopped vegetables in a skillet with margarine.
  5. Pour the can of tomato soup over the vegetables and let simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Combine the vegetable mixture with the cooked ground meat.
  7. Cook the mixture on low heat for about 3 hours, or until very tender.
  8. When the sauce is almost cooked, add the Velveeta cheese and cook until melted.
  9. Cook 1 pound of spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
  10. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce.
  11. If desired, add olives and mushrooms from small bottles.
  12. Serve hot.
