Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 (5 1/4 oz) package au gratin potatoes
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 2/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef, chopped onion, chopped celery, and chopped green pepper until the meat is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender; drain.
  2. In a greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish, combine the cooked beef mixture, potatoes with contents of the sauce mix, condensed tomato soup, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Stir in water and milk to the mixture.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350° to 375°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
