Ingredients

  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 pound cheese, diced
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Put pineapple chunks, mini marshmallows, diced cheese, and pecans in a bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, bring pineapple juice from the chunks to a boil.
  3. Mix egg, salt, flour, and sugar; add to the boiling juice and stir while bringing to a boil.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the contents in the bowl.
  6. Let the salad chill before serving.
