Aunt Rolene'S Steak
A hearty beef stew with tender round steak, savory tomato sauce, and vegetables, perfect for comforting family dinners and satisfying meat lovers.

- Sprinkle round steak with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Cut steak into serving pieces and roll in flour.
- Fry the coated steak in a little oil until browned.
- Remove the steak from the skillet. Add 3 or 4 tablespoons of flour to the skillet to absorb grease and brown slightly.
- Add 1 cup water and 1 can of tomato paste or sauce to the skillet.
- Stir in chopped celery, onions, and small can of mushrooms.
- Return the browned steak to the skillet and simmer until the meat is tender.
- Add a can of peas and cook a few more minutes before serving.
