Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 6 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, Crisco, salt, and hot water together.
  2. Set yeast aside in a cup of warm water and let it activate.
  3. When the yeast is ready, mix it with eggs and pour into the sugar and Crisco mixture.
  4. Add the flour gradually and mix until combined.
  5. Place the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  6. Take out the dough, let it rise, then shape into rolls.
  7. Bake until golden brown.
