Mini bacon-wrapped hamburger loaves bursting with cheddar and green pepper, perfect for a hearty, savory meal suited for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp. beef bouillon
  • 6 slices bacon, cut in halves

Instructions

  1. Mix together hamburger, egg, chopped onion, water, salt, shredded Cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, chopped green pepper, and beef bouillon.
  2. Shape the mixture into 6 loaves.
  3. Wrap each loaf with crisscross bacon strips.
  4. Place the loaves on a broiler pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
  6. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
