Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef liver
  • 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. bouillon
  • 2 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Brown beef liver in hot fat.
  2. In a food chopper, process the cooked liver with pork sausage.
  3. Add bread crumbs, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper, celery salt, eggs, and bouillon to the chopped mixture.
  4. Mix well until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  6. Top with slices of bacon.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
