Ingredients

  • 6 catfish fillets
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup sweet milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine grated Parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix sweet milk and beaten egg.
  3. Dip each catfish fillet into the milk and egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated fillets in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Drizzle melted margarine over the fillets and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  6. Bake uncovered in a 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
