- Rinse the whitefish fillets and pat dry.
- Use tweezers to remove visible bones from the ridge of each fillet.
- Melt butter in a shallow baking dish.
- Place the fillets in the dish.
- Sprinkle the fillets with lemon juice and salt.
- Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
- Pour whipping cream into a saucepan and heat to boiling.
- Simmer the cream until reduced to about 3/4 cup.
- Sprinkle the cooked shrimp over the baked fish.
- Pour the hot cream evenly over the fish and shrimp.
- Sprinkle shredded Provolone and Mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
