Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • about 1/2 box vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. frozen whipped topping
  • 2 or 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • additional whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and melted margarine.
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.
  3. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
  4. Cool completely.
  5. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup whipped topping until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  7. Add a layer of 2 or 3 sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Prepare the instant vanilla pudding as directed on the box and spread over the bananas.
  9. Sprinkle the crushed vanilla wafers on top of the pudding layer.
  10. Top with additional whipped topping.
  11. Chill before serving.
