Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large head fresh broccoli or 1 large bag frozen broccoli
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in butter.
  2. If using onion powder, skip sautéing.
  3. Steam the broccoli while cooking the rice.
  4. Mix onion, rice, broccoli, milk, and cream of chicken soup in a large bowl and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a large Pyrex dish.
  6. Spread grated cheese and bread crumbs on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
