Barge Rice
A hearty, cheesy beef and rice dip with spicy green chilies and hot sauce, perfect for parties and to satisfy fans of bold flavors and creamy textures.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 2 c. cooked rice ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. bell pepper flakes ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce ⓘ
- 1 can green chilies tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 small can chopped green chilies ⓘ
- 1 c. grated cheese ⓘ
- 1 c. beer ⓘ
- 1 chopped jalapeno pepper ⓘ
- 1 c. sour cream ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream and stir to combine.
- Simmer the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Heat gently without boiling until warmed through.
- Serve as a dip with chips.
