Ingredients

  • 1 can French-style beans
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can white corn (Shoe Peg)
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 or 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix and drain the French-style beans, peas, and white corn.
  2. Combine the drained vegetables with chopped green pepper, chopped onion, and chopped celery.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Chill the salad overnight before serving.
