- Combine ground beef, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into 6 patties, 1/2-inch thick.
- Place in a small skillet and cook on both sides until done.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Combine catsup, chili powder, beans, onion, and green pepper in a small saucepan.
- Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Place a beef patty on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.
- Top each patty with 3 to 4 tablespoons of hot bean sauce.
- Cover with bun tops.
