Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 tsp. bottled steak sauce
  • 1/3 cup packaged dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Make beef balls in a large bowl.
  2. Lightly toss ground chuck with salt, pepper, steak sauce, bread crumbs, and the egg until well combined.
  3. Gently shape the mixture into 18 balls, each about 2 inches in diameter.
  4. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  5. Brown the beef balls well all over in the hot butter.
  6. Reduce heat and cook gently for about 10 minutes.
  7. Remove beef balls from the skillet and serve.
