Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tomato, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • hot cooked noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in hot oil.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in paprika, sliced green pepper, peeled and sliced tomato, and salt.
  4. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until the meat is tender, adding water as needed to prevent sticking.
