Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons picante sauce
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 2 pounds beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup picante sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 16 ounces sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large shallow bowl, mix water and picante sauce.
  2. Soak the tortillas in the mixture for 5 minutes and then drain.
  3. Cook the beef and onion until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and picante sauce into the meat mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.
