Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup soup stock
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 cup green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 cup onion rings

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet, add oil and crushed garlic; cook until garlic turns brown, then remove.
  2. Add beef, cut into small, thin pieces, and fry for a few minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add soup stock and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Mix cornstarch, soy sauce, and water, then add to the skillet.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens, stirring slowly.
  7. Add sliced green peppers and onion rings (if using).
  8. Add finely chopped ginger.
  9. Heat thoroughly and serve hot.
