Ingredients

  • 1 can French style green beans
  • 1 can white corn
  • 1 can small peas
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 jar pimento
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the green beans, white corn, and small peas; then mix them together in a bowl.
  2. Chop the celery, onion, green pepper, and pimento; add to the mixture.
  3. Combine the vegetable mixture with the first mixture.
  4. In a saucepan, mix sugar, vegetable oil, salt, white vinegar, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the hot dressing over the combined vegetables, stir well, cover, and chill for 24 hours before serving.
