Ingredients

  • 1 can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 1 can Shoepeg corn, drained
  • 1 cup green peppers
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn off the heat.
  3. Allow the dressing to cool slightly.
  4. Pour the cooled dressing over the drained vegetables and mix well.
  5. Transfer the salad to a container, seal, and refrigerate.
  6. Let it chill for at least an hour before serving. Will keep for over a week.
