Blue Plate Meat Loaf

Instructions
- Mix together the ground beef and pork to blend the two meats.
- Add cracker crumbs, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Blend all ingredients well and add milk to moisten.
- Shape the mixture into two loaves and place into two lightly greased pans.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour 30 minutes or until done.
- Remove meat loaves from the oven and carefully cut each loaf lengthwise from one end to the other.
- Remove the top of each loaf, place sliced cheddar cheese on each bottom loaf, and place the top back on like a sandwich.
- Return the meat loaves to the pans and baste or drizzle with ketchup.
- Bake for about 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
