Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup softened margarine
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl.
  2. Cut in the softened margarine until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
  4. Press the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes and let cool completely.
