Ingredients

  • 1 large bag frozen broccoli
  • 1 large bag frozen cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (6 oz.) bag shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can golden cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup toasted bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Arrange the frozen broccoli and cauliflower in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Sauté chopped onion in margarine until translucent.
  3. Add shredded Cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and sliced mushrooms to the sautéed onions. Simmer until the cheese melts.
  4. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and toasted bread crumbs.
  6. Cover and bake at 325°F for 35 minutes.
