Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. white wine
  • 4 Tbsp. chicken or vegetable stock
  • broccoli spears for 1 person
  • cooked pasta for 1 person
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. Romano cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a wok or nonstick pan over low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped onion; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Pour in white wine and chicken or vegetable stock; add broccoli spears. Cover and cook until broccoli turns bright green.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the pan; cook until heated through and broccoli is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle Romano cheese on top before serving.
