Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add light corn syrup and eggs; mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in melted unsweetened chocolate, vanilla, and chopped nuts.
  5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
