Ingredients

  • 2 lb. partially thawed hash browns
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped red pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together, except butter and bread crumbs, and pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and drizzle the melted butter over the crumbs.
  3. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350°F until golden and bubbly.
