Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless chicken, cut into 1 inch strips
  • 1 1/2 cup mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 cup green peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cup beef stock
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute chicken in butter until browned; add mushrooms, green peppers, and onions.
  2. Saute until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add beef stock and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix flour with sour cream in a bowl.
  5. Add the sour cream mixture to the beef and vegetable mixture, stirring well to thicken.
  6. Simmer an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
