Ingredients

  • 1 gallon cabbage, shredded
  • 3 large onions, chopped fine
  • 2 large bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plain salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 pints mustard
  • 6 jalapeno peppers

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Put the mixture into sterilized jars and seal.
