  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, unsifted
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and water in a glass mixing bowl.
  2. Microwave, uncovered, 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring once; set aside.
