Ingredients

  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 1 lb. ground round steak
  • 1 onion
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 4 oz. can mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions and drain.
  2. Brown the ground round steak and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, chopped green pepper, chopped celery, mushroom pieces, and cashew nuts to the beef mixture.
  4. Combine the cooked noodles with the mixture and transfer to a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until heated through and bubbly.
