Ingredients

  • 3 cups pared potatoes, sliced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup pared carrots, sliced
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 3-quart casserole dish or a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer sliced potatoes in the dish, then add drained corn, sliced onion, lean ground beef, and sliced carrots in layers.
  3. Season each layer with salt as you go.
  4. Pour the spaghetti sauce evenly over the layered ingredients.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes (1 3/4 hours) until cooked through.
