Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 6 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Lay bread slices in a 9 1/2 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet and drain off excess fat.
  3. Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the bread slices.
  4. Sprinkle grated sharp cheese on top of the sausage layer.
  5. Mix the cream of celery soup, water, beaten eggs, milk, salt, and dry mustard.
  6. Pour the mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
