Chanukah Brisket

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. beef brisket
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. grapefruit juice
  • 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Brown brisket in skillet.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together. Bake brisket 10 minutes, then pour ingredients over to cover. Seal with foil.
  3. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Slice and refrigerate.
  5. Cook until done (1 hour prior to serving).
