Ingredients

  • 2 unbaked 9-inch pie crusts
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cubed processed cheese spread

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion.
  3. Drain off all fat from the beef.
  4. Stir in prepared mustard, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  5. Spread half of the beef mixture evenly into the bottom of one pie crust-lined pan.
  6. Top with cubed processed cheese spread.
  7. Add the remaining beef mixture over the cheese.
  8. Spread evenly and drizzle with ketchup.
  9. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  10. Cover with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and flute.
  11. Cut holes in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  12. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
