Cheesy Cabbage Roll-Ups feature tender cabbage leaves filled with savory ground beef and cheese, baked in tomato sauce for a hearty, family-friendly meal with rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • boiling water
  • 8 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 beef bouillon cube

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over cabbage leaves to cover; allow to stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine ground chuck, 1 cup cheese, corn, chopped onion, salt, and pepper, just until blended.
  3. Remove cabbage leaves from water.
  4. Place 2/3 cup of meat mixture in each leaf, fold in sides, and roll lengthwise.
  5. Fasten with wood toothpicks.
  6. Place rolled cabbage leaves in a baking dish, cover with tomato sauce and beef bouillon cube, and bake until heated through.
