Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. ground pork
  • 1 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 oz. medium egg noodles
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (17 oz.) can English peas, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. shredded American cheese

Instructions

  1. Crumble pork into a 3-quart casserole dish. Stir in chopped mushrooms and chopped onion. Cover with heavy-duty clear plastic wrap.
  2. Microwave at High for 5 to 7 minutes until pork is cooked, stirring twice. Drain excess fat. Cook and drain the egg noodles separately.
  3. Add cooked noodles, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, drained peas, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper to the casserole.
  4. Stir well to combine. Cover and microwave at Medium for 9 to 11 minutes until thoroughly heated, stirring once.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese, cover, and microwave at Medium for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes until cheese is melted.
