Ingredients

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup corn bread stuffing mix
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3/4 pound ground cooked ham
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup maple flavored syrup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Combine beaten egg and milk in a bowl.
  2. Stir in stuffing mix, chopped celery, dry mustard, and pepper.
  3. Let the mixture stand for 3 minutes.
  4. Add ground cooked ham and ground pork to the mixture.
  5. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  6. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  7. Bake the meatballs in a shallow pan for 15 to 18 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Place the cooked meatballs on a cookie sheet and freeze until firm.
  9. Transfer the frozen meatballs to moisture-proof and vapor-proof containers, seal, and freeze.
  10. Serve the meatballs with the maple syrup sauce.
