- Wash cherry tomatoes and let dry or slice and drain them. Butter an 8 x 12-inch casserole dish.
- Arrange the tomatoes evenly on the bottom of the dish. Cover with chopped onion and chopped bell pepper.

- Dot the top with butter slices and cover with shredded Cheddar cheese.
